is a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL), and accepts incoming firearm shipments for transfer.

If you buy a firearm online, you will need to have it transferred to you by a local FFL like us.

                                              How it works:

After you complete your purchase, the seller will want to know the about the FFL that you want it shipped to.
Email us (ffl@sstmanufacturing.com), and give some details about your purchase: your name and phone number, the order or auction number, and a brief description of your item. We will email the necessary paperwork to the seller, and copy you. If the seller supplies you with a tracking number, forward it to us.

When your firearm arrives, you will be contacted by email, text message, or phone call. When you come to pick up, bring your valid TX Driver License, your TX CHL/LTC (if you have one), and cash or credit card. If you have a TX CHL/LTC, the fee is $25 per firearm. If not, the fee is $35 per firearm.

After you have paid the transfer fee, you are required to complete a DOJ/BATFE Firearm Transaction Record, commonly called a Form 4473. If you have a TX CHL/LTC, the transfer is complete. If you do not have a TX CHL/LTC, a National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) check is initiated online, hence the extra fee. If approved immediately, the transfer is complete.

Occasionally, a transfer is delayed by NICS for unknown reasons, and the transfer will be approved within 5 days, when you come back to complete the transfer. In the rare case that the transfer is denied, you would be responsible for the cost of returning the firearm to the seller.
